I've tried looking through some posts but what I find is mostly examples of Ford vans.
At some point, I would love to have more utilitarian bumpers on my Express van but other than Aluminess and one other that I forget (more for work vans), there is nothing out there that I have found. I think the Aluminess bumpers look good on the big, lifted, 4x4 vans (UJoint, SMB, Quigley) but they look out of place on a barely lifted, non-large tire variant like mine. Then there is the cost of Aluminess. Has anyone dabbled with a custom bumper or modified a bumper intended for a Jeep or Chevy 1500/2500 pickup to work on a Chevy 1500 van?
A member of the forum made a Rugged Ridge modular bumper for a Jeep work on his E-series van. It looks really sharp! (see this thread)

Weight is a concern; I don't want ship anchors hanging off each end. I do like how Aluminess allows light mounting in the front bumper but I do not need the giant brush guard.
It won't be in the budget for a while but I want to start brainstorming and laying out a plan. Unfortunately, the vision in my head may dictate that I need to come up with something custom.
Thanks!
