Buying shocks and struts...

So I've been in the market for a suspension upgrade for awhile. I finally decided to buy Bilstein B6 (4600) and not cheap out on KYB or Monroe because I found them in stock online.

Can this set up be used with OME coils to become a lift?

Everything is stock on my gen 3 limited.

I'm perfectly fine just running new struts and shocks, but if I wait just one more payday, I can get coils.

Thanks,
I got broke husband problems LOL

Just remember if you are paying someone to do the labor for the front shocks, its a bit involved, book rate around 4 hours to do both. So the labor charge will be considerably more $$ than the cost of the springs (in my neighborhood anyways).

For reference I've run the bilstein 4600's without new springs for over a year now and they've been a huge upgrade over the blown original shocks/struts. I was in the same boat where I could afford something, but not everything. I'm planning on finishing it up with springs, bushing, etc this year. It is a bit of a bear to replace them yourself, but very doable.

My mechanic is charging $200 labor for both front and rear. I figure if I can get the coils and any bushings, mounts, and/or hardware all pieced together, he can slide it all in one labor cost.
