Cabinet locking hardware for storage , Marine Supplier or other?

I am building a set of locking cabinets into my 101 Forward Control Land Rover. I have already installed a 3/4" plywood platform at the height of the lower fold down set of side panels. It creates a natural sleeping platform while offering great storage below. The platform offers room to inflate a Queen Size air mattress to sleep on and stay dry.

I want to weld up a basic frame to mount under the 3/4" platform. The steel frame would permit two slide out birch wood drawers, with a metal front door that locks the drawers away safely. The lockable door(s) would fold down to have a work area when the drawers are not pulled out.

Does anyone recommend a hardware supplier with stout , flush mount , lockable hardware?

I know many marine suppliers have great options, but I figure most people taking serious cross country or international trips have good advice on options.

The two drawers will be the cooking/ kitchen side of the rig. I have a Front Runner Water tank mounted on that side with hose handy to use for cooking. See this link: https://www.frontrunneroutfitters.com/en/us/front-runner-45l-water-tank-with-mounting-system.html

I will have the pull out drawers for a double burner basic Coleman style stove top. I'll design the pullouts so they use drawers that lock in place once extended and the cabinets all have metal will unfold up ward to offer better shielding from winds when cooking.

I already have a kitchen pantry box for preparation of food and storage for food off the rear and using the tail gate as seen in the picture I am attaching here from the story on NW Mog fest on EP from last year.

I would love to hear what hardware DIY'ers have used in the cabinets you have fabricated.

Thanks,

I ended up using regular large paddle latches, as I wanted them as heavy drawer pulls.

Something in that design family might suit your purposes. Am I correct in understanding it is for the covering door panel, which will open / fold down, with the drawers sliding out over it?

Something as simple as a cam lock / liqour cabinet lock mechanism would work for your purpose. But it wouldn't be very flush in the inner side, especially on a thin metal door panel.

eta there are a couple latch mechanisms on this page that would likely give you the inner flush fit you seem to be looking for, usually marketed as drawer locks -

Some of the southco marine stuff if stout. Try the M1 series latches. You can buy them through McMaster Carr for cheaper than elsewhere. Eberhard makes very tough stuff. Trimark is pretty good too.
