Camera Bag, Naneu Pro Bravo

Right now, my new Digital Rebel floats when I'm not using it - car seat, coffee table, etc. That's no good. I would've ordered a bag with it, except I didn't quite know what I wanted at the time. I've been doing some of Googling on the subject, and found the Naneu Pro Bravo.

My thoughts on this are, 1) it looks suitable for a slog through the forest, 2) it doesn't look like a camera bag, 3) I can use it for other stuff too. Do you guys have any experience with this bag, or Naneu Pro in general?

I ordered this bag last week from the manufacturer. I'm excited to get it - should arrive in the next few days, I hope.

Be sure to also check out the bags from Think Tank Photo... they are made by a group of two bag designers and two photographers and are rather innovative. A bag like their Rotation 360 might be a nice choice since you could get your camera out of it without having to take the pack off. It's also small and would be nice if you plan to hike a distance because it shouldn't be as heavy as many others.

I use their belt-based system when I'm shooting and their Airport International when flying.

If you happen to end up with one of their bags, but sure to do a google search for:
whereisben thinktank

That should get you to a page on my blog that will mention a discount code... it would get you a free item and you spend something like $50. I mention their stuff enough that I convinced them into the deal.

The compass is a little cheesy, but I'll let it slide, because the bag seems to be pretty nice overall. The small size is a little awkward as a backpack, although it is exactly the size I wanted. They have a larger model called the Alpha, but I felt that was more bag than I needed.

I don't have much in the way of equipment, but there's plenty of room to grow. I should be able to add a few lenses - and maybe my point and shoot with underwater housing if we ever get that fixed.

ExPo chic.

Alot of back and shoulder padding.

I wanted a small/medium sized bag I can toss around in the Cherokee, and take with me into the woods, climbing rocks and whatnot. This looks like it'll be perfect.
