Camp saw

I just bought a 21" Sven saw and like the quality feel of it, I have not cut with it yet but do like the small size it folds down to. I have been leaving my bow saw home due to it's size.

What are you using for a bow type saw?

I'm carrying (not often used) a Fiskars bow saw purchased from Home Depot. Fits nicely under the back seat of my XJ and the one time I used it, worked like a champ.

I just recently purchased a 21" Sven saw, also. I like that it folds up so I can take it backpacking as well as in the truck.

I have been carrying a 21" bow saw from Sears - has worked fine, just big.

I have the Trailblazer 24" Take Down Buck Saw and it works real good, in fact I use it more around the house than on the trail.

I carry one of these Bahco 30" saws. Large size makes this a fast saw to use.

Mine has a type 23 blade for green wood, but does great on either. I have never tried a type 51 blade for dry wood (I don't build many fires as I am mildly allergic to smoke).

I've used a Sven saw for many years on my backpacking trips, they work great. I keep it in my camper now but have yet to use it. Great product.
