Camper roof water proofing?

I am reduilding an old pop up camper roof. I have built it out of wood and for the coating I am thinking of using a bedliner over the wood and then coating the bedliner in a ruberized coating. Will this work? Do the bedlines stick well to the wood surface or not? Any suggestions welcome.

Line-X will work very well over a new wood surface. Requires no real prep work. I use Line-X when building some plywood and styrofoam dog boxes - killer stuff.

I used rubber roofing applied to plywood. You can contact cement it down or there's some newer products available also (glues that is is, a bit more user friendly than contact adh.) I used aluminum angle to hold down the edges. Some RV suppliers also cary white...I used the standard black available at most roofing supply companies.
