I've never seen it cooked before. Ate a ton of the regular canned bacon back in the day though. The picture on the can showed nice lean bacon but inside it was mostly fat. We always cooked up potatoes and onions in the pan with the drippings. That made a great dinner or breakfast.

I thought it had been outlawed for too much salt, fat and sodium nitrate.

I am going to get some to have in my food box for breakfast after the ice in the ice chest runs out.
