Canon has announced its next model in the Rebel DSLR line. The Rebel T1i borrows a lot of technology from Canon's top-of-the-line 50D and 5D-Mark II. MSRP for the Rebel T1i body is $799, an amazing bargain.

HD movie recording (720p at 30 frames per second)
HDMI connection for viewing and playback on an HDTV
3.4 frames per second continuous shooting
Max. 170 large JPEG images in a single burst

9-point wide area AF with cross type centre point
DIGIC 4 processor
Integrated Cleaning System
Compatible with Canon EF and EF-S lenses 24mm f/3.5L II
