Can't locate a NM body style in a 300 mile radius at the pick-a-parts

Do you guys have the same trouble? I am in central VA and these things are rare as hen's teeth in this area. I used pick-a-parts a bunch for the Troopers and never had trouble finding 5-6 to pick from at any given time at the closest yard.

I cant find an NP either. Not looking for anything in particular right now, its just that it looks like pick a parts wont be an option for this damn thing.

Definitely difficult, but not impossible.

I run car-part.com ,pick a specific unusual item for a Montero, and can find hits that won't show up when you look for bumper, fender, etc.

My last junkyard trip yielded an XLS and a Limited, both fairly complete, 01-02 models Murfreesboro, TN.

There's a 01 limited in the pickapart in indy, got a fog light and 3 good rims last week. Let me know if you want something specific. I look at them not being in yards as a good thing, there still on the road.

Where would you be able to look up info on how many were sold here in the states? I would say there are easily 2-3 times as many Montero sports. And damn Mitsubishi for not giving Montero Sports a completely different name. It makes parts searching a nightmare, as searches are cluttered with stuff for Montero Sports. That and a 3.5 thats not the same as the Montero 3.5 >_<

Just found one in Raleigh. Got the A/C vent, ABS computer, the brake booster motor for spare(or to sell) and a trailer hitch, all for $100
It's white with black leather interior for those in the area. Its at the LKQ in Clayton on 70

Can you snap a pic of the hitch? I have been looking for an OEM and don't quite know what it looks like. I don't want one that hangs down.
