OK,, I have the double cab fever. Just bought one... already in mod stages in my mind. How hard/possible is it to switch out the duallys in the rear to a single setup??? Anyone? Not looking at having a huge load just yet...Camper in the future. But since I am in the snow many months o the year, a single rear setup would be less slippery....

Jeff, is your crew cab a 4x4? Also, what year and wheelbase is your truck?
As far as converting to SRW there are a number of old threads that discuss the topic. Since you're in Squamish BC, you may want to contact Nathan Donaldson at heathenmechanical@yahoo.com. He has several FGs and has converted one to SRW.

Hi there. spent a late night up searching old posts, thanks for the info on the srw converting. Yes, it is a 4x4. it is a 1991, 4200cc diesel. 61,000km.
wheelbase I am not positive just yet, but I believe from what I have found it is built on the 2530 - approx.100" wheelbase, but waiting for confirmation on that.
