See Capanaparo - Cinaruco 2001 for details about the location. This time we had three vehicles, and 10 people: my 1983 FZJ60, a 1981 Range Rover, 1989 Jeep Wrangler.

Hope you enjoy the photos,

-Alberto

Me towing the RRC. The engine on this RRC was upgraded from a V-belt 3.5 dual carbureted to a serpentine belt 3.9 retaining the Stromberg carburators. The serpentine belt snaped and some minor repairs were needed including some parts we did not have on hand. I towed him for about 100 miles in the middle of no-where to the closest town (Puerto Ayacucho).

These photos tell so many things to me!

The bad thing is that no matter what you do, photos don't even start to convey the greatness and stunning beauty of this region, or the swarms of mosquitoes and the appalling heat. Yet I have thoroughly enjoyed every trip we have made to Los Llanos.
