Wow! For reference my four wheel camper Fleet (flatbed version) with a Norweld tray/flatbed weighs 1,800 to 1,900 lbs.
Carbon for the win!

We've really worked hard to make something special and I believe we have. It will only get better from here! For what's on offer, this camper is an outstanding bargain!
There is nothing even close to this camper, let alone it having an equal!
This will outlive any truck its bolted to...
The weight adds up so fast!Wow! For reference my four wheel camper Fleet (flatbed version) with a Norweld tray/flatbed weighs 1,800 to 1,900 lbs.
It's a good question and reasonable to ask. The main issue is leverage. The longer the lever arm to more stress at the fulcrum and especially with composite materials stress points can fail over time. We have to stay well within limits of how much stress the materials can handle over time in order to make a reliable product.honest question i always have with these builds is why limit the cabover to such a short section and not continue it further out to cover the length of the cab and give a bigger platform when the roof is raised?
Just to echo the comments - this is an amazing deal and an incredible setup for travel.![]()
It's something that can be designed though, and it's very nice to have a sleeping berth that doesn't intrude on the living space, especially in a small rig. It's a good question and reasonable to ask. I'd love to build a camper on a Champ! It's something that can be designed though, and it's very nice to have a sleeping berth that doesn't intrude on the living space, especially in a small rig.
Very impressive build!I think it's more aesthetically pleasing than any comparable camper, and will be a light, aero, reliable and maneuverable rig for anyone who wants to camp in remote places. A camper like this on a Toyota Champ would be an awesome world traveler IMO.
Are you building any more?
