Carbon Monoxide Detectors- 12 volt

I will doing a three week trip from Los Angeles straight up to Seattle then to Glacier, Yellowstone and through the Southwest. We will be sleeping in the truck for the majority of the trip. Recent news articles about deaths from carbon monoxide poisoning in as little as 15 minutes has me concerned.

I want to find a good 12v detector to keep inside the truck at all times. Any suggestions? I found this link but I would prefer to see what people are using:

I'm sure for those with expo rigs, rvs and campers, you must be using something.

What are you going to be burning inside the cab to keep warm to produce the CO2? You don't plan to run the engine to keep warm are you?
I don't think you will need to worry about it.
Have your exhaust system checked for leaks so there isn't any CO2 getting into the cab while driving.

I have a brand new one that has never been hooked up or used.
It is for sale if you want it.
PM me if interested and I'll pull it out and get the specs on it.

Brian
