Cargo 1998 RB E250 5.4L V8 van with 100000 Miles

Hi all,

I have a Cargo 1998 Ford Econoline E250 Regular base with a little more than 100 000 miles. It has the 5.4L V8 gas engine.

It has a “light” build inside with bed, storage, small sink.

The story behind it:

I bought this van a few months ago and did a few camping trips with it. It did the job, but I found myself more interested in exploring back-roads doing Motorcycle camping.

I am the 3rd owner. It was originally a painter’s truck that was in service for about 14 years in Sacramento area CA, USA. Then it was put in storage for about 8 years. After 8 years, the painter gave it to his sister, that was in 2020. She then brought it to a mechanics and had everything that needed to be replace replaced, such as water pump and tires for example in addition to new suspension installed. I do have all the receipt for the work done. She then drove it for about 2000 miles before realizing her dog don’t like to hang in the van and then decided to sell it. This is when I bought it. I brought it to my mechanic for servicing and then used it for 6-7 camping trips totaling about 1500 miles. Everything went well during those trips.

10000USD, will have oil change and smog.

I am located in Sacramento area.

Feel free to ask me questions!

You’d be better of converting to a Ujoint conversion. Way more functional than a truck & can go to the same places. Plus will be worth more in the end.
