Cascadia Vehicles Tents RTT

I was wanting to get a RTT from Camping Lab, but because of backorders and not shipping for a while I ordered one from Cascadia Vehicle Tents. Talked to the owner, John, on the phone and he sounded legit so I went for it.

Arrived yesterday, got it assembled and put on my Congo Cage today.

Seems really nice, I have nothing to compare to, but looks and feels good.

Can't wait to take it somewhere beautiful, for tonight though I may just have to sleep in my driveway. :wings:

Looks like you got the last one for this year!

Congratulations! I just recently purchased an RTT, too. Did you sleep in your driveway the first night? I did! :D

Got mine from UPS today.... good news I got it.. bad news UPS speared the box with a fork lift.. good news.. looks like all is fine with some minor damage to the hinge... but it works and opens fine...

So for a UPS gorilla test it gets a pass! next step... taking it to Land Rover and installing it.

Note: My local LR dealership is looking for a new distributor and they are interested in how it would install on the LR Discovery II and the Range Rover Sport.... so taking them both there and playing with the parts/service dept!

OMFG the tent was fantastic. Had a birds eye view at night. very comfortable sleep (in combo with my Big Agnes sleeping bag system) plenty of room. held up in rain and wind. I am a very happy camper and pleased CVT customer!

Yep, I like mine too. We took it up on Mt. Lemmon the weekend before last. The foam pad is a bit on the firm side, but otherwise the tent is great.

I got it off of eBay for like $525 +shipping. The owner of the company isn't ordering any more until the spring, but he said he would take deposits if somebody wanted to be guaranteed to get one.

Too bad they are out for the year. I am local to them and could swing by to pick one up. Going to have to remember these next spring.

Maybe it would be worth giving the guy a call, he seemed like a good guy. Maybe he has an extra or can get you on his list when he orders if you aren't in a hurry to get one. Good tent, great price.
