Chevy Express 1500 discontinued...what about AWD version?

I know these things are constantly swirling in the domestic commercial van market, but I saw this one today.

I have considered an Express 1500 AWD as a light-duty camping van. This looks like it would spell the end of that package. It is possible that they would make one on the 2500 platform, but I kind of doubt it because I think that package wasn't very popular.

Not by the looks of it! They are done with the AWD!

Quigley will convert the Express 2500 model to 4x4 with a two speed transfer case. Not cheap, however.
