Selling an M1102 Surplus trailer that has been brought back to "civilian specs".
This involves:
*Removing the 4 inch spacer between the Axle and tub. This brings the tailgate down to a more usable 24 inches off the ground without sacrificing ANY ground clearance. This trailer is running 33s but I have been told you can clear 37" tires with the right offset.
*Replacing the hydraulic brakes with Dexter Electric brakes WITH Parking Brakes and breakaway kit.
*Replacing the pintle hitch with a standard 2 inch ball. You can easily swap that out for an Offroad Max Coupler Hitch. (Part # MC3000) https://www.cuoffroad.com/product-lines/max-coupler-line/
*Converting all lights to 12V and swap the trailer plug to a standard 7 blade.
*Repacking and servicing the hubs.
These are fantastic camping or utility trailers that come with:
*Rear stabilizers for loading while unhooked from the truck or leveling while camping.
*Multiple tie downs mounted into the bed.
*Tarp loops all the way around the tub.
*All aluminum construction (except for draw bar and trailing arm axle which are Cromolly)
*Trailer is rated for 4200# GVW but uses 7000# Dexter brakes, bearings and torsion bar axle.
Located in North SF Bay Area 95451
Asking $3500
Open to a Partial Trade for a CLEAN M1101/M1102 in Desert Camo with a CA Title
