[CLEAN TITLE] 2004 LX470 - $15k

Member of ih8mud suggested I cross-post here...

Greetings, Fellow LC/LX Enthusiasts!

Life plans have evolved and the need to downsize into a smaller, more fuel efficient vehicle for the interim has come. This proposed sale is not a reflection on this excellent rig (I'd love to keep it!), but rather a change in my immediate needs.

This '04 LX470 has been a solid and capable rig taking me from the West Coast to the Midwest to the Upper Rockies in all weather and conditions. Sadly, never took an opportunity to seriously off-road it; it's been babied for the last year and 15k miles I've had it and is now clocking 205k Miles (slowly going up until sold as it's my daily). Has lived it's entire life in SoCal until this year, so it's completely free of rust or corrosion.

CLEAN TITLE and IN MY NAME, no-haggle $15k firm ENTHUSIAST PRICE ONLY, a fair, not-for-profit value -- what I'll be needing to get into my next mode of transport. You're welcome to fly into Springfield to check it out; I'll pick you up at the airport. May be able to personally deliver on a buyer commit, depending if the vehicle I'm looking for is near you or you cover my travel expenses back to Springfield, MO -- win/win.

VIN: JTJHT00W743543359

Photo Album and Video Walk-around via Google Photos, but as a new sign-up here, I'm not permitted to post links apparently, so inquire and I'll furnish the link.

Commonly asked questions I've received and their corresponding answers...

"I am a little confused by the location situation. You are in MS currently but looking to drive the rig down to deliver to the buyer?"

First, the rig and I are stationed in MO for the winter, not MS. Second, my search for a suitable lateral supplant is nationwide, hence my ability to deliver if potential replacement is in the buyers vicinity. Furthermore, I'm a CA expat as of late 2015 living a nomadic lifestyle of work, study and leisure. That said, CA tags came up for expiry this past spring whilst I was under extended stay in MT. I retitled/registered in MT to forego having to hassle with driving back to CA for emissions recert BS. MT soon gave way to seasonal work in the wilds of ID that concluded this past fall, freeing me up to spend the holidays with family in MO. Confusion dispelled!

"Besides that, do you happen to have a current carfax for the vehicle?"

Interested parties are at liberty to run their own Carfax reports at their expense (VIN clearly provided in OP). Basic Photoshop forgeries aren't uncommon, so I caution anyone receiving a seller-furnished Carfax report. My rig is clean titled and in my name.

"Could you provide me some additional photos, specifically undercarriage, engine bay, seats, dash, tires, and any close ups of cosmetic damage? It's 12 years old, I would expect some wear and tear."

Copious photos of all facets of the vehicle already posted to the linked Google Photos album, video included. No cosmetic damage of mention that's not commensurate with a 12 year old vehicle. Again, look at the previously furnished high-resolution pictures and ask specific questions addressing your concerns if you have any. To reiterate OP, my LX has lived it's entire life in SoCal until this year, so it's completely RUST and CORROSION FREE. NO LEAKS (see line items Bank 1 Catalyst and Exhaust Pipe Assembly and Both Valve Cover Gaskets in ad) and serviced up to date with major investment on my part and receipts to back it all up.

"Do you still have the third row seats and seatbelts?"

Offloaded in the first month I had the rig. My condolences if you have a NEED for a third row of seats, but they can be easily acquired by asking around as most here don't have a need for them and appreciate the added cargo room and lost weight removing them affords.

"Trade for my..."

NO. Cash only sale.

"Still available?"

Unless otherwise updated, yes.

Alright, ExPo's...

Time is of the essence. I don't have much longer to babysit this sale or entertain the tire kickers who've flaked out. If not sold by Friday, I've no recourse than to rescind the sale as I'll be needing the rig to commute, though that's a lose/lose; waste of this vehicle's potential for such a task and a drag on my future plans.

If you're holding out for a significant price drop, sorry to dash your hopes, but that's not happening. Let's get this clean rig in the hands of an appreciative fellow enthusiast who will cherish and build it out to their hearts content.
