Just out of curiosity, when did they change their laws on the cat converter? I ran an aftermarket unit on both of my cars when I lived there. I suppose it may depend which county you are in as well.

Yeah I probably should clarify on the emissions, since "Clean Air Colorado" took over emissions (we wen't without emissions for quite a while) they put such strict requirements on vehicles that many people have a hard time passing. My truck just barely wouldn't meet their required numbers for the production year. It's really insane, the numbers my 96 is supposed to meet are far more stringent than anything around in 1996 when the truck was designed. I would venture to guess this vehicle will pass emissions in probably any other state aside from California and Colorado.

Price drop to $8000, I don't think I will go any lower.

I found the emissions paperwork, it blew a 5 on Nox and max is 3.5, It is not too far off.

Bump for getting out and cycling the lockers last Sunday.
