Conqueror RTT/Trailer tent

I'm selling the tent off of my Conqueror trailer. I have about 6 nights in it with no issues. The tent is mounted to the trailer in a way that incorporates the roof of the trailer as part of the floor for the sleeping area. Who ever buys it would have to fabricate a floor for that section but it would be as easy as screwing it into a sheet of plywood if they wanted to go that route. I'm including everything, The tent, cover ladder, matress inside, even the door mat for the ladder. If your interested Id prefer not to ship I'm located in bellingham Wa but might me able to get it down to Seattle or to BC Canada. Price is $2000 OBO

That's a smokin' deal for somebody.

Are you saying that the roof of the trailer needs a plywood section?
Or the fold-out portion. I had to replace the fold-out on mine since the OE piece was a laminated thing with foam core; it crushed under my weight...

Bill,

I think he is saying the new owner would have to fab something where the trailer flooring is.

I wonder what his plans are for a new tent?

You are correct sir :)

plans are for my eezi awn. The conqueror tent is great but just too much tent for me. Not to mention I lifted my conqueror and while the tent still reached the ground I would still prefer my eezi awn that Im able to switch between vehicles. :coffeedrink:

Yeah, as a point of clarification for those that might consider this for another trailer or application-

The conqueror compact has a fold (or flip out) floor section that overhangs the side of the trailer doubling the foot print of the top of the trailer and making it a queen size mattress (I believe). The flip out is a fiberglass resined wafer board. The other end of the mattress rests on the metal roof of the trailer.
If the tent is removed, that segment that is the roof the the trailer will have to be fabricated or replicated on another trailer - i.e.: use the roof of another trailer as the floor).

All in all, however, I think a current compact owner should snap this up and tuck it away virtually doubling the life of their expedition trailer!!

I thought of it...

Dendy,

Funny you mentioned the spare parts idea. I thought of it (no cash right now) but in the end, think if my tent goes bad in the next 20 years (yeah I think it will last that long) I will replace it with something easier to get parts for.

Bump for the sale

That is the same thought I had.
