Ain't I special? For some brief period of time, I'm the only person running around with MetalTech 4x4's nifty step sliders on an LX470.
They've got lots of these on Landcruisers, but the sliders originally wouldn't fit a Lexus because the Automatic Height Control cylinder was in the way. So they borrowed my truck for a little while to take some measurements, tweaked the design a bit, fabbed 'em up and got them back from power coating. And today they got installed.

They are plenty sturdy, have a wide enough step to be useful for the vertically-challenged and, to my mind, look pretty good on the truck. Plus the guys at MetalTech were great to work with. Highly recommended.
