I had one on my dodge worked great

I had 2 KC lights off the front and a firestick off the back I dont have any great photos of it on this computer, and have since taken it off to put on a camper shell

If anyone wants one for a 3rd gen Dodge, I will part with it real cheap.

It was heavier duty then i expected, simple to mount, and once it was on there it was solid and did not leak at all. Can be installed in less then 10 min

We're about worried about hitting the lights or whatever we mount on the upper part of the mount. I guess that's the concern with anything you mount above the cab. How do your lights perform mounted in that position? Does the top of the cab limit the lights' forward projection?

I was running pencil beams up front, so I had them aimed out pretty far. You did get a fair amount of spill through the moon roof when it was open, but it did not have a negative effect on the lights. I ran them through trees many times and never had a problem. Had them up there for about a year. If I had not gone with a camper shell I would still be using it.

used the 8" (or so) of metal strain relief that comes on the lights to reach the cab. The bracket has notches that allow you to slip wire through it, and in the the brake light opening. I then went along the headliner, down the c pillar, under the carpet and through the firewall. The only real bad thing i could say about it is that the gaskets that come with it are only good for 1 or 2 installs. If you put it on and take it off to add or remove items, the gaskets get a memory and you may need to replace them. I just cut some generic material, and it worked just fine. But it has 2 gaskets, one on the inside of cab, one on the outside, so it seals well and never leaked

Thanks for the info. I dread taking apart the headliner and trim in order to wire the lights up. I haven't done it yet, so maybe it won't be that difficult. I'm considering mounting an antenna there, but most antenna cables that I use are fairly thick in diameter and would be difficult to run through the headliner to the rear brake light. I'm still trying to figure out an optimal place to mount CB and Ham radios inside the cab!

Not sure what vehicle you have, but on the 3rd gen dodge, there is enough flex in the headliner that I was able to feed the wire for the lights and the firestick brand coax through the headliner (and remove the wires) with out removing the headliner, and the trim at the floor was only a couple of screws. Mounting the bracket with the lights, and antenna, and running cables was less then an hour. I actually did it one morning 4th of July weekend camping out at Lake Havasu. Put it on while I watched the sun come up with a cup of coffee.
