Hi,
If you live in Colorado and you ride the trails, you should know about this group!
They do a great effort in developing and maintaining mountain bike trails in the Colorado Plateau region. Here is some information from thier website:
"What Is COPMOBA?
COPMOBA is a group of mountain bikers dedicated to the development and maintenance of regional mountain bike trails on the Colorado Plateau. Our main trails include Kokopelli's, Tabeguache, and Paradox, and we also work on all mountain bike trails in the area and are always working to get new trails built. COPMOBA got its start back in 1989 as a result of the grassroots effort by mountain bikers to build Kokopelli's Trail. The organization includes a board of directors and numerous wonderful members and volunteers, all working in cooperation with land agencies.
What Does COPMOBA Do?
We build and maintain mountain bike trails, work to preserve singletrack, and promote responsible riding. Through volunteer trail construction and maintenance projects, advocacy efforts, riding clinics, group rides, and fundraising efforts we act as a positive voice for mountain biking."
