Core-Trax & Quick Fist Clamp mod

Core-Trax makes a very cool, T-6 aluminum track / tie down system that is very handy for anything you'd want to mount anywhere around a pickup bed, etc.

Quick Fist makes a very handy clamp for just about anything you'd want to clamp in place, such as fire extenguishers, shovels, flash lights, even pepper spray.

The problem with the Core-Trax system is that they currently only offer loop tie down points on their movable clips for their track system. Perfect for tie downs, not so perfect for anything else.

The problem with Quick Fist is that they are designed to be screwed/bolted in place. Change your mind later on where you'd like that fire extenquisher or flashlight and it means more holes in the rig.

Solution? Bring these two great systems together.

At the last Off Road Expo I saw a system similar to the Core-Trax. The biggest difference was that it did not use any springs. The system was designed so that the tie-down's hook fit in a cross-wise slot in the track, locating the anchor. I may still have their info at home.
