Coyote Canyon Trail Mountain Bike Ride....


Terwilliger Valley to Borrego Springs via the Coyote Canyon Trail.

Would anyone be interested in helping me coordinate an ExPo Group mtn. bike ride through the Coyote Canyon trail? This would be a North to South run.

Some time this coming Fall/Winter/Spring.

We would need to coordinate drop off and pick up, and need help with vehicles, dropping people off and picking up bikes, etc.

This could even be an overnighter if we can pack our gear properly.

Anyone up for it?

I'm not a hard core mtn. bike dude....but I have been riding off road since the days long ago on my 1960's Schwinn Banana Seat Bike (it was green!) with Back Slick tire before mtn. bikes were ever heard of! I just knew this would catch on! You should have seen me on the jumps, before jumping bikes was cool!

It would be a first for the ExPo Bike Forum!

Can you post more specific information relative to potential start dates, starting location, mileage, ending point, etc?

Maybe this would be a route worth recording for future riders.

Start dates are open to the members availibility. I want Everyone to be included! I figure we have 6 months to figure it out!

I like to do this too! I have been looking over maps the past couple of weeks.
I just finished the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route in August. I enjoyed it and was looking for more epic bike packing trips local.

Another idea I have is that if it is too hard to coordinate drop off and pick up for a one way trip, we can drive down a ways from the north with our bikes in our trucks and set up a base camp. Then ride south from our camp, and a round trip back up to our camp.
