For those looking at different Tents on the Market that don't exactly want to pay the price for a RTT, I recommend looking at a Swag Tent from Australia.
I personally have a Crashpad Swag Tent from Crashpad. I have had it for just over 2 years and it has been nice. If I remember correctly it cost me roughly $350 on sale at the time and it was shipped directly from Australia.
What do I like about it? Well for starters it is a Canvas Tent. This makes it a bit heavy so it doesn't blow away as easily. It also works well for insulation to help keep you warm at night. There is a mattress in there as well(though I did replace the original one with a different pad). Also because it is a ground tent, I can bring it with me even if I'm in someone else's vehicle on a trip. I just have to make sure there is a spot to put it. Should I mention that it is light? It's only 30 LBS vs a RTT that can easily weigh around 100 Lbs.
For storage it simply stays in the bed of my truck strapped down. If needed I can remove it and put it in a closet if I have to. But I have to keep in mind that it is almost 5 ft long(probably closer to 4 ft).
Now Crashpad does offer both a King Single and a Double. I personally have the King Single. It is about the size of a Full Size Mattress. A Double is about the size of a Queen Mattress. If it's just yourself often, stick with the King Single. If you have another with you sharing the Tent, then get a Double as you will need the room. If you have a Double and it's just you, you might not be insulated well enough causing you to get really cold at night. To give you an idea I have slept at around 11,000 FT and it got down to 32° F. I was still comfortable in my Swag.
I also want to add that these are pretty well with water resistance. So if you end up sleeping in a rain storm, you should be able to stay fairly dry.
In the time I have had this tent, I can say it is well worth the cost. I would definitely recommend looking at a Crashpad Swag for your next Tent I you are on the market.
