Creche-a-day

This is my new project for the holday season.

I'm trying to see how many people are celebrating Jesus amongst their other Christmas lawn decorations.

Each day I am trying to find an outdoor Nativity scene and photograph it. I am putting this on a running blog I call Creche-a-Day.

Please visit if you are so inclined.

Merry Christmas! :victory:

Nativity Scene photgraphed in Ensenada

While waiting for my new laptop to be configured I stepped outside the computer store and this Nativity scene was at the house adjacent to the store. I wish to extend my wishes for everyone to have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a joyous New Year.

There are some people in my moms neighborhood who always do this strange ghetto xmas scene in their yard, usually involving a stuffed camel and I think its supposed to be Joseph but it looks like Osama Bin Laden...if its up this year I'll take a pic!

That one looks like someone stole Jesus.

There's a house in my neighborhood that has a nativity scene on
the front lawn. The owners must have got their hands on a couple
of female mannequins from a department store. With the application of
beards, robes and turbans, these figures became the visiting Wise Men.
Kind of odd to see the three Kings holding their limbs in artistic,
Vogue-ish poses around the manger!
