Cross bar recommendations for mounting RTT

Morning all. While shopping for RTTs I realized that I am going to need some cross bars for my Bajarack Standard Rack. Looking for some recommendations from the experienced crowd. I understand the dynamic and static load weights have to be so much so I'm wondering what others are using. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used 12 gauge unistrut for crossbars on my gobi rack. I got the pre-perforated crap from home depot, I ended up welding small pads in order to get the holes in the correct place, so I would suggest getting the plain stuff from an electrical supply warehouse if you can find it.

I have a Tepui Kukenam which I think weighs 130-140 pounds with anti-condensation mat. It's mounted on two round Yakima crossbars with Yakima towers. I've put over 20K miles on it with a lot of high-speed freeway miles in heavy crosswinds plus several hundred offroad/washboard miles and it's rock solid. It think the critical issue is solid attachment so there isn't vibration and motion ... cross bar strength and stiffness is less of an issue depending on the type of RTT. I've never had to tighten any of the fasteners (tent or rack) since initial install.

Thule or Yakima or Rhino Rack load bars usually work out quite well for tent/rack mounting. You did not mention the type of vehicle you're putting the rack on. Does it have a rain gutter for rack attachment or roof tracks or are you attaching load bars to factory rack rails? Your options vary depending on what you're working with.

Not sure what you mean ... tent to crossbar was standard Tepui clamps; crossbar to tower to landing pad to tracks was Yakima. Nothing special.

I bet you answered all of the question by explaining the other components, beyond “Yakima round bars”.

Mine is similar, but substitute Rhino Vortex bars, and their variation of track mounting towers.
