Day trippin around Phoenix

My son was in town for the weekend and my broke ol self had to find a way to entertain the dude. 1st we went to "Arizona Falls" which is a pretty cool miniature hydro-electric facility that is used for educational purposes.
We still had plenty of time to kill in the day so we went to the Penske Racing Museum and checked that out, then we ended the day at South mountain. Not exactly a grand adventure but it was fun and free.

If it encourages anyone to just get out there, even if it's just to a local park then I feel like I have accomplished something. I see too many people living a stagnant life and it saddens me.

A lot of times people do not explore their own backyard, thinking they can always do it later. Or that they have to go far to explore.
