Dc to Dc for power station?

Hey guys I’m not sure if it’s possible but can you run a dc to dc charger to a power station? I have Perron E1500 pro and it has a port with and Anderson adapter capable of 800 watts of solar. Do you think I could use a 20A dc to dc and be safe. It comes with a cigarette adapter to charge from the car but that only puts out about 80-100 watts. I was hoping to use something that will charge faster while driving. Thanks for any info

according to the specs the DC input would have to be at least between 32 and 95 volts. If you have a dc to dc charger it would have to be be at least 32 volts. I suspect the wiring inside the unit requires the higher voltage due to thin gauge wiring.

If your 20 amp charger is less than 32 volts (example 12 volts) it won't work on the high voltage(32-95) input, and at 20 amps output (12v x 20a = 240 watts) it would be too powerful for the low voltage (12-18 volt) 100 watt charging port.
