Deal on 255/85-16E

Hey guys, I noticed while looking for tires for my new van I came across this deal at tire-easy.com. I have never bought from them or or know anything about them.

Toyo Open Country MT 255/85-16 load range E for $161.90 each. Seems like a steal.

Welcome! I had read that they sometimes sell tires that are fairly old, but still new. I gave them a call and a they told me that none of the tires are more than 3 years old. Not sure if that is OK or not. Toyo makes a great tire so I am betting that they would probably be OK.

If tires are stored out of direct sunlight I wouldn't be worried at all.

Shipping prices for the tires per the calculator were more than double tire rack. Maybe still a deal, but $51 a tire is really high.

Wow! I did a quick calc for 4 and it came out to 134 shipped to me in WA state.
