1GB SD card (I could fit most all of SoCal on the card)
USB SD card adapter (for moving data packets from the sw to the unit)
USB data cable (less efficient way of moving data to the unit)
A neat Garmin logo nylon bag
It runs on 2 AA batteries, make sure you have fresh one and extras, it likes batteries. Delorme also sells a lithium battery pack, which I found to be worthless. I just use good digital camera quality AAs.
Many folks (me included) consider Delorme topo software to be very good, maybe the best on the consumer market. I often use the sw for trip planning and routing as well as to print paper maps as a supplement to the gps.
