detailed dimensions of an M416?

was wondering if anyone had some very, very detailed measurements of a m416, my basic goal would be to build an exact replica out of aluminum. save weight, i dont do anything harsh so im not worried about military tough. plus i want a project and i feel it would be fun to do. Since i dont have one that i can go and get a measurement of absolutely everything, the measurements will have to be pretty much OCD. if no one has the time to do so, or no one has a link to some amazing website with these details ill probably end up buying a rust bucket trailer later on to get measurements and potentially build jigs or something. anything to make it as precise as possible. and easier.

You might like this too...although I cannot take credit for it, someone on this thread sent this up for all to share. It is basically exact drawings you can take to a metal shop to have them build the m416 box

thanks guys! this is why i love this site,everyone is super helpful. i will be taking tig welding classes soon, and when i join the USAF in december (hopefully, start of summer at the latest) i will hopefully be working doing fabrication or some other mechanical job so i will have a bit more experience to do this, i may try and do it for a project in the welding class. heck, if i get good at it i may see if people are interested in purchasing them for cheap...

There is nothing "cheap" about welding aluminum, and there is a current thread on here covering an m416 version in aluminum.

what i mean by that is that i wont be looking to make a $2000 profit, just enough profit to come out a little ahead. i will have to find it, didnt look for threads about dimensions...
