My brother came across this yesterday on his way home from my place, and sent me a pic. He gave me the guy's web address, and I contacted him. Hopefully I'll get him to give me a tour this weekend, and I'll take more pics.

It's a 1963 Deutz. Cool.

I love those air cooled Deutz engines. Simplifies an already simple engine even further.

Yes, they are cool! I had the "luxury" of sitting in the passenger seat of one while crossing the Sahara. Amazing how much torque that engine has-even close to the stalling RPM's! Funny also, that when approaching the very low rpm's the front always looked like it's jumping up and down, like following the movement of the pistons :Wow1:

We had to dig it out several times... not fun!

But that sound... that was something else!:smiley_drive::coffeedrink:
