Diesel heater tank on frame rail?

Purchased a Vevor Diesel heater for my Chevy Express build. I don't want a gas heater - too expensive.

Ideally, I could mount some sort of fuel tank or fuel cell and install a door on the side of the van for access. However, I think I'd need a fuel filler hose to reach the side of the van, and don't see any great options for that. Obviously the more DIY things are, the more potential for leaks. So ideally looking for somewhat of an off the shelf solution.

If anyone has done something like this, can they offer some suggestions?

Thanks!

You could use a Marine filler neck. They surface mount through a hole in the sheet metal. Then run a hose down to a small fuel cell on the frame rail.
