DII Cargo cover in a DI???

I have been looking for a cargo cover for my 97 Disco and I'm not having any Luck with it. I keep finding them for DII's anyone know if they fit? I'm not thinking so because if I'm not mistaken the Series II Discos are wider right?

Yes they are, however the seats for the cargo cover are quite a bit in from the sides, sitting on a huge empty piece of plastic... might be worth a measuring exercise. The D2 cover has a spring in one end to keep it seated, and it's a pretty snug fit when rolled out.

EDIT: I realized the above sounds a bit misleading. I meant "yes they are" as in "yes they are wider". I doubt a D1 cargo cover would fit in a D2.

It's been forever since I've messed with them, but I am pretty certain that they are not even close to being interchangeable.
