Oh, My!! Love that Tan/Black-Out combo.

That would look nice pulling the new trailer!

You find all the cool stuff!

I hate to be disagreeable, but I think it's a prime example of everything that is bad about the European D3/D4 Enthusiast Community.

I think it looks great. And that TDV6 rocks as well. One of the few trucks I'd trade mine for!

I'll admit that I'm being a tad critical partly because I first saw this truck a few months ago and have had time to soak it in. Some of it's finest points are the paint, tire carrier, tires, and maybe even the LR4 tails. These are things that I think are commendable, but paint matched flares, bumper ends, black grill, and painted headlights ruin it in my opinion. I don't think black paint has any business around lighting components.

If you frequent Disco3.co.uk you'll find a serious theme of "Form Over Function". A lot of guys trying to turn thier D3s into D4s, LED lighting, 20" Stormer wheels, and G4 replication. That roof rack for example doesn't have a really have a solid mount for lighting and isn't great for expedition use. A much better option would be the Front Runner with light mounts and inverted mounted lamps.

I can admire the hard work and thought process invested into this D3, but I have a really hard time believing anyone of us on ExPo would build an LR3 in the same fashion.

I would think most of this to be subjective as is most of what we do to our trucks.
