DIY rtt or flippac style

I have a 2018 jl rubicon 4 dr. I have been looking at Ursa Minor and while I love the concept the price is too high for me. . Plus it limits your ability to take the top off. And it’s heavy jeeps don’t have a a very high gvwr. Oh and I have a rag top.

My goals are light weight. Simple and some standing room save. ? money

I am considering. Some ideas and what like to know what you all think and why.
1 build a flippac style camper that opens over the front and mounts to the roll bars. To do this I would want to use an air beam style tent light weights no poles. Use a hand pump to inflate or a power tank or on board air For the sides I would use the soft tops side and mount them the same way jeep does.
Challenges finding a suitable air beam tent. Most have a bigger foot print than my jeep
Thoughts?

2 build a tilt up. Westfalia style pop top use the jeeps soft top as the. Lid Use the jeeps side panels. Fitting the whol thing under the existing soft top and mounting it to the roll bar

3. Using the side panels. Construct a new roof that raise like a j30

4build entire new top sides out of composite. Roof out of composite bed out of composite

Would. I need to frame up the side to attach it to the jeep body using wood and adhesiive ? Aluminum ? I haven’t. Seen any post through the first 22 pages of this thread. I have seen some very easy to do rtt using a plywood base and a triple bar stylehighg. Or really cool. Built full on capers. What are your thoughts ? Why? Links? Suggestions?

I met Bucky as a kid. Intense dude.

Built domes in Australia, saw the huge ones at the NSA bases, cool stuff.

But not sure, talking Dymaxion type profile?

Give a chance to Buck mister Fuller.

some of the lightest per square feet structures ever made..
Hexayurt is another shelter project that comes to mind when considering a dome. I have been kicking around in my head a RTT built around a coroplast folding hexayurt. Still in the dumb idea phase but I will throw out there for dome one else to kick around.
