Ceramic foil backed blanket.
Typically used in high temp applications, this is the type of stuff used to insulate powdercoating ovens, steam drums ect ect

It's really nasty stuff to work with. I can't believe they aren't wearing masks in that video.

Looks like it indeed. Do you think they spray some adhesive to it? Does not look like it is self-adhesive.

At 0:59 in the video it looks like he is peeling a paper backing off of it.

I believe that it is a form of fiberglass insulation available in Europe. I don't remember the name but I do remember seeing a similar product used by the Brits in Iraq. Then again over there it could have been sourced from anywhere and could very well have been the fiberfrax material mentioned earlier. I do remember that it had a very similar feel/texture to the fiberglass home insulation available at any Lowe's or Home Depot.
