Off the shelf parts from home depot. 2" male pipe threads to female pvc fitting, adapters to whatever hose/tube you want to use. I used 2" to 3/4" and a hose barb.

There is a vent hole in the cans that is uncovered when using internal threads instead of the EOM cap.
