Double Cad Tacoma Value?

I am looking at a 2002 DC Tacoma TRD with 54k miles. The blue blook value is $15,700. They have the truck listed at 18,200 and I have got them down to 17000. Most trucks listed on Autotrader and Cars.com with 60k + miles are going for above 16 thousand. I have been looking all over the country. Is KBB out of touch with the market or are people just listing too high? These are from private and dealers and I am trying to figure out what a fair price is. What do you all think I could get for $16,000?

The low miles are a book add, so that's likely why they are over retail on their sticker. KBB and NADA allow for 15K miles a year, so an '02 should have close to 90K miles.

First gen d-cab Tacos are still bringing a premium at auctions, so dealerships seldom get a good deal on them. Most dealerships mark up used vehicles $2500 over what they have in them. So if their sticker is $18,200, they probably have close to book value into it at $15,700.

Sounds like a fair, not great, deal to me. Low mileage is worth something to me. Hard to dicker a lot on d-cabs as it is a seller's market for those desirable units, especially now that there are only a limited number available.
