Dual Batteries in a 1st gen Frontier or Xterra?

Hey hey,

Has anyone fit dual batteries under the hood of a 1st gen Frontier or Xterra? A quick set of measurements makes me think it may be possible but it would a close fit. Just hoping someone out there has attempted it and could offer some feedback.

I haven't seen any. I have a friend who cut out a space in the sunken storage are of his 2nd gen X for his second battery. Of course the spare tire needs to be relocated for that too.

Trick First Gen Dual Battery Set-up This is the only one I know of. One hell of a quality job. If I hadn't relocated both of my batteries to behind the front seats, I would have gone this root.
