My plan is to make this a much more mild build. I'm going to keep it in line with my needs vs whatever MOAB dreams were in my head. It's still going to ba a lot of fun, but it's also going to be a "lessons learned" build.


Phase 1; August/September 2012:

--33" Goodyear MT/R Kevlars on stock 17" wheels. I've done the 35s and 37s, and this makes the most sense to me. Plus it'll save me cash in not needing an aftermarket tire carrier. ~ LOL ...I failed on this one!

--Nemesis Notorious front flares and rear flares

--Shrockworks bumpers and sliders

--Right Channel Radio Cobra 75 CB Jeep kit

--Spiderweb Shade

Big thanks to Jeff at Adrenaline Offroad.

These showed up yesterday afternoon and were on by 2000.

They balanced perfectly and measure right at 33". The best thing ...no noticeable difference in pep, power, pick-up, handling, etc.

And they look awesome!!!

We'll see how well this holds up. A Teraflex carrier might be a near future purchase.

I also picked up a new Spiderweb Shade ...IMO, one of the best add ons you can buy!!! Thursday should be nice enough to put it on.

A huge thanks to Marcus at River City Offroad for hooking a brother up, and Ian at Nemesis for answering a few questions.


The install was time consuming, but fairly straight forward. Everything lined up perfect. They feel very stout ...and look ***** *** cool!!! They really opened up the wheel well.

The rears are going on tomorrow. Yes, I know I need to do something about the pool floaty toy on the front ...Shrockworks ordered and on the way in the ((hopefully)) not too distant future.

I wouldn't call this theft proof, but you're gonna have to want it to get it ...whatever it is. It's it!!

Very easy install. Two holes drilled in the back as extra security.

A couple days and a few hundred miles later, I'm very happy with the RK Stock Mod lift. To me it feels no different than stock.

I LOVE THIS JEEP!!!! Honestly, it's way more fun than my 2010 JKU. :drunk:

Not nearly as cool as the tires/wheels, but cool nonetheless!!

Also got my CB (Cobra 75) mounted. Turned out great! Mounted the connector pack under the driver seat and ran the mic into the center console. Looks very clean. Ran out of light ...pics of this tomorrow.

Shrockworks said four months from order to delivery. Thursday would be exactly four months, and it all arrived today!!

I'm very excited. Shrock was what I wanted from the beginning on my last rig, but I didn't want to wait. I'm very glad patience paid off.

I've got some work to do ...

Not as exciting as the Shrockworks stuff, but ...

I wanted some grab handles but hated how most hang in the middle of the doorway ...bad angle. I likes the Poly ones I had in my old JKU, but didn't want to cut on my new interior.

Enter Surprise Straps ...

Got a good start on the bumpers today:
