Pretty cool setup. I like the flatbead + slide-in combo. He mentions that they are essentially one unit but can be separated - I wonder how hard it is to take off the camper. Having that capability would be a big differentiator compared to it being permanently mounted. He also says he'll trade the entire setup for 1 bitcoin... if you made that trade ealier this week you could have saved yourself ~$15k on the cash price, haha.

I didn’t know 6.4 could be bulletproofed.
It can, but the 6.4 is probably the least desirable powerstroke out there, it has a reputation for being a throwaway engine (good for 150k miles). The 6.0 was at least pre-DEF and the later years are actually pretty decent if you are religious about the service intervals, but the 6.4 has all the complications of modern emissions compliance coupled to an unreliable motor.

The 6.7 that came after is a great motor, though it has all the emissions hardware of a modern diesel.

I love this prices. "A raising tide floats all boats"
$100K and I'LL let my Tiger go. Haha minus the JLR.
Yeah and you can pay and inflated price for your replacement. We just shopped 6+ months to find what we thought was a good deal for a turn key rig, we actually spent 1/4 of our budget but now we have a high mileage vehicle to maintain and likely some interior remodel in our future. You are right that all price trends are good for current owners.

Lol. Bitcoin was at $60k in late April when this ad was made but closed at $38k today, wonder if 1 will still buy it…

6.0L fully bulletproofed is the #1 choice for some diesel specialty shops.
Run from the 6.4L.
'15.5+ 6.7L was good, but '11-15 had some problems(Google), and modern emissions component headaches as you mention.
