EarthCruiser 2015 EXP on a 2007 Mitsubishi Fuso FG
Unique, best of the old and the new!
We are selling an extremely well-loved EarthCruiser EXP. It has served us very well for 10 years because we have maintained it, inside and out, added many enhancements, and pre-emptively replaced parts consistent with our preventative maintenance philosophy. Contact us for a full list of parts replaced and dates. When not traveling, it was always stored in a heated garage. The truck has received regular service at conservative intervals, using Amsoil products.
The truck is quite special and unique. It’s a 2007 Mitsubishi Fuso FG with 154,554 miles on the chassis but we had a new engine and turbo installed less than 40,000 miles ago! Our old engine was running just fine, but Mitsubishi had a half-price sale on new engines. We just couldn’t pass it up. The truck requires no DEF nor DPF nor catalytic converter. It has 4WD and a high/low range transfer case! These features make this EarthCruiser very desirable for remote off-road travel.
The visibility from the cab-over truck is fantastic, great for viewing the scenery through the large windshield, and it’s also easy to navigate over hills without a hood in the way. The camper is very livable, comfortable, and enjoyable to spend time in, with generous storage inside and out. It has many custom features.
718 watts of solar power and 630 Ah lithium batteries means there is no need for any propane or a generator. This, together with 80 gallons of fresh water and 60 gallons of diesel, allows you to stay in remote locations for a long time. It fits in a standard shipping container for adventuring overseas.
There is an active Owners’ Group with tons of information and expertise from others, a Fuso dealer network, and a specialty shop in Bend, OR (Expedition Vehicle Services) that knows these vehicles inside and out. Also, we’re happy to spend a day or so with the new owner explaining the operation of the truck and camper. The Mitsubishi Fuso FG with the 4M50 engine is over-built and under-stressed, and thus very reliable on and off road. Many consider the 2007 to have been its best year.
We’ll list major features but if you’re unfamiliar with this wonderful camper, please ask questions. There is too much to include here!
If you’re attending Overland Expo Mountain West in Loveland, CO, you’re welcome to come see our EarthCruiser, about 2 hours south.
We are asking $229,000 and we are located just north of Colorado Springs, CO. Contact Bob at shoelark@outlook.com
