If you’ve been interested in owning an EarthRoamer but don’t want to wait for a 2016 or can’t commit to spending $300K + without trying one out first, this pre-owned 2006 F450 EarthRoamer may be just what you need. The truck has 90K miles, had a new turbo-charger installed at 70K, and was equipped in 2011 with a new BulletProof EGR cooler and remote oil filter. This modification significantly enhances the dependability of this 6.0L Ford diesel engine. The Crew Cab of this unit seats 5 adults and the rear bench seat can be folded down to accommodate an extra sleeping berth or room for happy pets.
This is one of the last EarthRoamers made that does not require DEF or have a particulate filter, making it possible for you to drive ANYWHERE in the world your adventures take you.
Known Issues: HEKI 4 – vent seal on order (there are none in the USA at the moment) doesn’t leak, but can generate slight wind noise while driving at highway speeds. Air-chuck tire refill system has a hose leak. Rebuilt in 2010, the unit is titled in MT and fully insured.
