Nice part of the world. I love the East Coast especially Ponto D'Oro MZ. down to Coffee Bay. We love the Wild Coast and used to spend time at Mkambati.

This time last year we drove from Joburg to Ponto D'Oro, down the Indian Ocean coast ending up in Cape Town. It was the third time we have done this route and loved it every time.

First two trips we pulled a trailer and camped, this last time we rented a car and drove staying in backpackers. We used the free backpackers guide and enjoyed everything from cinder block rooms in Coffee Bay, garden shed's at Hluhluwe, to lodges by the river at Addo and ocean views at Plattenberg. An inexpensive and fun way to see the country
