Edmund Hillary dies at 88

New Zealander Sir Edmund Hillary and Nepal's Tenzing Norgay were the first climbers confirmed to have reached the summit of Chomolungma (aka Mt Everest), the world's tallest mountain. Later, Hillary became the first person to have stood at both poles as well as the top of the tallest mountain.

A great man has passed When I was a child and now as an adult, Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay were always heroes to me. He had many profound goals in his life and saw many of them met, but never at the cost of human life. He will be missed.
