I just noticed today when comparing tents that the Hannibal Tourer tent (which is comparable to the EA T-Top with extended fly and lower room) has the ability for the outer wall of the lower room can be unzipped from side walls and raised up like an awning which is a really handy feature (see attachment).
The EA website doesn't specifically mention it, but the lower walls are all seperate so it looks like it could be done with the t-Top, but can everyone confirm?
EA's website appears to be the most lacking in information and accessories of all the RTT manufacturers. I'm also interested in what accessores are available for the EA line of RTT's (such as the boot sack which is not listed on their website). They may or may not have a winter hood, or extreme weather fly as an example.
comparing the fly on the two of them, it seems that the Hannibal tourer fly, which clearly covers more of the tent then the EA fly, would appear to provid e more protection in extreme weather (rain/snow) than the EA.
Thoughts?
