Hey guys, this will be pretty much a trip truck out a few times a year for a month at a time, not a big 4 wheeler , but I get out there, blm land ,forest servise roads ect, no rock crawling stuff , I save that for my 500 exc lol, will be carrying a 500 lb pop up camper either a hiatus or tune m-1, for a combined weight of around 1300 to 1400 lbs ,truck fluids, camper ,people ,gear , vehicle add ons, so in reality will of course be on paved roads probably 90 % of the time like most people, so recommendations on suspension and stability, ride comfort, thanks guys

For stability and ride comfort with a 1300-1400 lb load, you won’t get much more stability and ride comfort from a 172” wheelbase truck than how it comes off the lot. Maybe change the tires to suit your intended use and terrain.

Hey rgv, on the topic of tires what are your thoughts on class c, d,or even e tires for my application in relation to hiway ride

With the payload capacity you’re talking I think you have no choice but to stay with E rated. I’ve settled on Toyo C/T most of the year and Nokian LT3 in the winter.

That said, I have Michelin AT2 E rated on my work F150 and have been very impressed with the highway ride and durability on blast rock and pipeline right-of-ways.
